Nah, it's just that I grew up watching them. It reminds me of the happy family time I used to enjoy before my parents grew all religious and shit.

i am a indian punjabi so i pretty much understand most of pakistani culture (barring the pashtun / baloch tribal culture of which i have no clue).
so its not a case of 'mine is better than yours'.

anyway i repeat i am done being a little bitch for now.

So yeah bollywood movies, my mom hates if i watch with her. I laugh at the wrong parts--i.e serious moments when the guy/girl are dying or something. There was this new one they rented and it was like every cliche bollywood line/expression/nuance/story-line put into one horrible movie. I didn't watch all of it but i'm sure it worked out for the couple in the end and their families accepted them ( i could be talking about every bollywood movie at this point). I did like that new one with Amir khan though. And the last good bollywood movie i saw was Dheli 6

Oh I laughed at the wrong scene once. A blind girl was unaware her kid was dying and I know it's sad, but the acting was AWFUL and I had the giggles.

My mum was well pissed off. :/

Racial jokes, schmacial jokes, comedians joke about their observations on life and being from a minority makes you joke about things that white comedians might not. Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, hell even Jackie Mason are all funny as hell, that's what peoples experiences are, the nature of identity and all that kind of thing.

I think Russell Peters is hilarious too. I only discovered him on YouTube about a year ago but I love his jokes since everything he says about indians is soooo true. Plus he does a really good chinese accent

russel peters does suck. he used to e good about 5 years ago, but he's on the downswing now, comedians have it all the time, they recylce thier crap so much you've heard it before.

I'm liking aziz ansari, he's got some quality material his recent hbo special was actually quite good. worth watching.
