Everyone has the right to freedom of speech and no one is exempt from being offended. It only becomes a problem when that offense leads to rather nasty posts which are on the verge of threatening. I am sure the admins will deal with it.

Okay, Tut, if that's the way you want to interpret it, that's on you. I don't see how telling someone if they insult me I will return the favor, but worse, is "bullying"-- but if you want to think that's what it is, I'm not gonna get upset over it. You seem to have a lot of strange ideas.

    fuck you

It is up to the Muslims who are there to take up the issue with her, and they HAVE been countering her. The Muslims or ex-Muslims who did not challenge her on her views do not necessarily agree with her.

The deportation of Muslims is not easy to accomplish; they did not steal their way in to those countries. A country will have to modify its constitution with retrospective effect. Then there is the question of appearing (for the damn politicians) just and non-xenophobic. But the way right wing parties are gaining ascendancy, deportation, and eventual barring, of Muslims is not ruled out completely. Muslims in the west must have a rethink on their behavior, but I know that you already agree with me here.

The question, as far as the forum of FFI is concerned, to be asked is that why Muslims like you shy away from countering her? She is not having her finger on the nuclear button, does she? MBL did answer your questions regarding Iraq invasion, and you left that discussion apparently satisfied or answerless.

Does FFI have any ex-Muslims? It has. Why they don't object to those posts? Is it because they are cowed down? I don't think so simply because a person who has the courage to denounce the cultic influence of Islam, can't be cowed down by some anonymous person posting on the internet.

It is easy to criticize a forum, any forum, by cherry picking certain posts. One could point out to Q-Man's post referring to SNB's mother. That kind of comment is not tolerated at FFI no matter what.

The point I was trying to make is FFI has many rabid dogs on the loose.

As to why I didn't confront her, the answer is simple... I would have barked back at her, something I don't like to do with women. Besides, I have already discussed this issue many times with other members.. .as to MBL discussing this issue he *admitted* that the US interest in Iraq is first and foremost because of oil... He admitted that the US is in Iraq because they (the Americans) shouldn't be held hostage in case some crazy Islamic regime took control over the area... the only point of dispute was whether Islam is the reason why Iraqis are still refusing to get "civilised".

    Quote
Because Africa holds no strategic value. Of course the Middle East is important because of oil, but to say that the US invaded Iraq to steal their oil is ridiculous. The US does not want some asshole taking over oil wealthy nations by force and then holding the US hostage. It's not about the US stealing, it's about preventing people from fucking the US. The Middle East is simply a fucked up place with a fucked up, non developed culture. They may never be ready for Democracy because there is such a culture of revenge in the Middle East and nobody has learned how to be a good loser.

FUCK FFI! I speak for myself although many here will have the same sentiments, we do not care about FFI we think it is a shit forum, for bigots and bullies to gather in, using Islam as a pretext to justify the bigotry against Muslims.

Lets not forget, it is the sensitive herbs from FFI who come here and tell us how to behave... So what if we think FFI is shit? WE don't want you guys to come over FFI and spam this forum trying to defend the obscene. Stop whining, and you are welcome here if you want to criticize Islam.

    @QMan,

I wouldn't insult the mother of even my arch enemy who might be scheming to kill me. But may be we have different codes of honor. It is obvious that on the issue we have different opinions: you think your insult was justified, while I think it was not. And I didn't see many people here challenging you on the issue, so probably my opinion is different from theirs too.

And if you stabbed me I wouldn't call the cops, as a moral imperative. You probably don't agree with that anymore than I agree with what you wrote above.

    Yes, most likely.

Hold on a sec, charles. I do think my insult was justified from my own personal code, but I wasn't trying to argue it was objectively justified. I was only stating that it was provoked. You said it was an unprovoked insult, and that's obviously untrue. Even if it was unjustified, it definitely wasn't unprovoked. And what I am trying to tell you is I do respond strongly to provocation, unless I view it as being strategically/tactically unwise-- and this being an internet discussion forum, there are no tactical or strategic concerns when it comes to these kinds of exchanges.

I'm just sayin that if you're polite and don't insult me, it's very unlikely I'd insult you, much less make the kind of insult I did to SNB. For any truly unprovoked insults I have made, I apologize. But I don't apologize to SNB, even if what I said was objectively unjustified, unless he shows some recognition of his own unwarranted personal attacks against me.

    fuck you

    @ Q-Man,

My mistake. SNB's address to you CAN be taken as provocation. However, maybe since I don't think any provocation is good enough to start insulting one's mother unless one is repaying in kind, I didn't notice/forgot that part of SNB's post.

Anyway, I think that both of us have said enough on the issue, and clarified our respective positions.

Besides, you don't find CEMB members visiting FFI and giving advice... it seems FFIers are visiting here and lecturing CEMBers on how they should run their forum, including how to discipline one of their members.

    Good thread!

It shows how FFI is so quick to believe any nonsense so long as it shows Muslims/Islam in a bad light.

I suggest you read the thread from the start though, Debunker. (Though some edited their posts in the light of discovering it wasn't a mass show of paedophillia after all!  Cheesy)

So, OK do you think Hasan was unjustified to make those comments, when he was pointing out a factual inconsistency in one of the main-articles? Or are you just upset that he actually showed that some over at FFI will fabricate information to demonize Islam, and then folks like you will rally around this misinformation... You must be really proud of yourself...

Psycho Bunny, is starting to become like the clowns he spends so much time over there with, but I agree with all his points about Osman. So, they have a whole thread about members on this forum. How many trips do they make to dictionary.com when compiling a post, just to appear smart... I bet they've worn around dictionary.com. Cassie has a PD'd they want us to believe there are intelligent people over there. Like if intelligence is measured by your ability to use a thesaurus. They write lengthy spammy posts and mange to say absolutely nothing.

    @ Hassan & Canadian

Like I said, it also has to do with motives... I suspect $$$ (or bread in case of starving Muslims) does play a huge role...

So far I seen ONLY one case of conversion to Christianity that seemed 100% genuine.. .it's the Hamas kid conversion story, have heard of it? I'll dig up the video.

I agree with you 100%. Those Muslim2Christ videos on youtube are so fake lol. You can obviously tell they are actors which makes me laugh.
