    Must be a crossover one... Made of Cat5 E cable. If its a direct connection... If you have broadband, with a router, you would have got a Rj45 cable... Stick one end into the router, one end into your computer, then connect another onto the free stop on your router to your other computer. Or if you don't have and free ports and only ports on your PCs then network them with one cable... Just plug one end of the cable into one computer and the other end into another computer. Then you can transfer shit much, faster then you could do with USB or wirelessly.

    By the time you figure out everything Tut is talking about here, you could have used a memory stick or burned a CD.  I think that is your best bet.

    You can but, its a nightmare networking with a USB cable. I think the cable also has to have a bridge in the middle, am not sure though...

    But try sticking one end one computer and the other into another see, what happens. It should be plug n play.

    Yes but memory stick costs money as do blank CD's lol I want to do it now, ah well it's too late really tonight, but if I know then I can do it tomorrow.

    Am pretty sure you can't do it with a standered, USB, USB cable. It must have a bridge in the cable.

    It's ok, I'm just going to buy a memory stick, I need one anyway because I'm always swapping CD's with my friend, this will save me money on CD's when I need to copy her a new album or if I want to copy any of hers when I visit her.

    Top one is a printer cable.

    Bottom one is USB, USB... Is the wire stright... Does it like have a box in the middle? or is is straight wire?

    And you dodo, buy a Ethernet cable...Its only £1 or less. Its best to use to transfer files computer to computer,

    OK right you don't have that, but you can make the bridge yourself... If you have soldering iron... and a old motherboard, you can make your own bridge.

    I'm so stressed out today, it's that countdown to court again and today's stressed out mental state is nothing compared to the night before.  But this time it's worse, this time I am going alone, no friend by my side and no barrister either, I don't think I can do it.

    I am having difficulty breathing at the thought of being there alone, like the onset of a panic attack.  I've lost count of the amount of times I have had to sit down and slow my breathing down and repeat some reassuring bullshit to try and calm me down, or the amount of times I have ended up in tears the last couple of days.

    The thing about friendship Dio, is it never lasts once a man comes on the scene, and my best friend who always goes with me has pretty much blown me out in favour of him too often for me to think anything but the worst. I never would have pegged her as the type to forget about a loyal friend in favour of a barely 6 month old relationship, but that's what they do, I am frankly sick of making any friends.

    If Hassan is fine with going (maybe he could organise some more people... a gang to protect you!! ) why not ask him? Irking your ex should be a bonus... let him explode, thinking any man there is your lover - it can only help your case!

    And I can understand about being freshly in love (there´s pretty much nothing I wouldn´t do for frog)... but why must that stop your friend going with you to court?? You are hardly asking her to postpone her wedding or give up her man??

    She didn't mention a postponement, she said to go in on thursday and repeat the things she has listed in a letter, and see what the judge says from there. 


    The other side is not going to want a postponement, the other side tried to get us back sooner.

    Yes, you're right.  I will do that, I really can't face the alone part, I can't. The moment I start trying to mentally prepare myself to face him alone is the moment I start having the panic attacks.

    Get the postponement, if AT ALL possible - AND organise some net for yourself for when the day comes!! Friends (and hey - hassan IS a great guy!!), social service agency.. DON`T GO ALONE OR ONLY WITH LAWYER!!
    You need someone to help you emotionally, too!!
    At least - make someone meet you after, to take you for a drink, calm down - At LEAST!

    If possible, arrange for your kids to be away for the day... so you have some breathing space to regroup, before you have to deal with them again...
