Did I say that he is sympathetic to bad practices? I just said he makes a lot of bullshit statements.I have no problem with guys like you who dont support the bad things in islam but all muslims are not like you and hence there lies the problem. By keeping islam you are allowing people to get distracted by bad teachings. There will always be dispute as to what should be followed and what shouldnt be and in such a case you can never have a standard version of islam where all the bad things are eliminated and hence there is always a possibility of people being influenced by bad teachings of islam and acting accordingly and hence I see no reason to keep islam.

Billy if you say you were Muslim, without actually commiting that's fair enough - of course I have no problem with that. As I stated in my earlier post by quoting a few verses of the Quran, Islam does not enjoin its followers to destroy and negate all other religions - I honestly find this notion totally ridiculous (i.e. the fact that Islam apparently enjoins this) - as would the majority of other Muslims. You are of course free to disagree by using what other sources you have used to come to this conclusion.

Abubilly - why does Islam prosletyse? Why does Islam decry the existence of non Muslims? Why do Muslims make such a public show of converts, even inventing a natural law by calling them 'reverts'? Why does Islam place so much emphasis on carrying out dawah and the need to replace and usurp ever religion or belief system (including the precepts of democracy) it comes across? Why did people actively convert your ancestors to Islam, in a land far, far away from Arabia?

Not the end of days, but the end of a society. Look at what happened to the Greeks, Romans etc.....They became so intellectual, that they became lazy and almost frozen by their intellectualism. They were far more effective in their earlier stages where they were less intellectual and more willing to be brutes.

Billy, what happens if the Muslim population explodes as some people predict?? Would you like to see a minaret on top of Big Ben?? Don't count that out if Muslims ever gained the majority. Don't think that's silly because it most certainly is not. Muslims are aggressive by nature and ultimately believe that Islam should rule anywhere and everywhere, and to not do everything they can to make this happen is a dereliction of their religious duty.

It may already be too late and either at some point, some sort of very distasteful population control methods would have to be put into place, or you'd have to stick them on a donkey cart and send them back to the hell hole they came from
