Safiya was married no? Her husband was killed? Shouldn't there be a mourning process for her? Shouldn't there be a waiting process?

actually according to another stinky Hadith by Muslim, there should be a waiting period (of 3 months) for women captured in Hunain (these were non-combatants)... of course the funny thing about that "Sahih" Hadith is that it was an obvious LIE.

    http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=10789.msg288484#msg288484

    EDIT:
And the lying Hadith claims that this incident is the reason why 4:24 was revealed (Shia believe otherwise, by the way). The funny thing is Sunnis (Ummayyads) can't keep track of their lies as Sura 4 was one of the earlieast Medinan Suras to be revealed.
    http://www.missionislam.com/quran/revealationorder.htm

And the battle of Hunain was much much later (towards after the conquest of Mecca).

    (Clicky for piccy!)

Only the  Gharkad tree, would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews."

if you have the occasion to help someone who is in need, but are not going to get any hathana for helping him you:
    1) help him anyway
    2 )don't help him

What is hathana?  Blessings?  Why wouldn't I exactly?

because it looks like you are just running after what will lead you to paradise,  and are too afraid to think by yourself, for you everything is just what lead you to paradise and what will not, it is the way your thinking, so i want to know if it still some hope and that you'll do something good just in order to help someone else, even if you know that it won't profit you in the so feared afterlife

It's still fascinating with the facts seeming to lean in that direction.  How do you interpret them?

    Dont obfuscate.

Regardless of whether it points to a spiritual world or not (we have deists, agnostics, pantheists here too), it does not say Islam is the chosen religion.  That is the only point we are not sure of and you are, and that is whats up for debate here.

While I don't agree with your views on bukhari/muslim, I respect you debunker because you have knowledge of Islam and what you say you back up with evidence.

There are millions of possible unseen beliefs.  Why do you just accept the Islamic ones and reject all others?  If you cannot prove it, and you admit that you are just having "faith", then you have nothing to distinguish between Islamic beliefs and the millions of other beliefs.

Is that why you aren't Muslim?  Because the other faiths sounded good, too?

Actually I choose Islam because it makes the most sense to me and is stong on its own.  I just don't feel the way you all do about it.  Your blasphemies really make me cringe.

I have my own specific research into why I could never accept christianity as a truth, and I am just not interested in the far eastern faiths; they sound as crazy to me as Islam sounds to you.  Hassan seems like he's trying to get me to debate the merits of the other faiths but I'm not in the mood right now.  I came here for something different for a change... for a different type of religious argument in which I didn't have to explain basic kindergarden Islamic stuff to people first.

And one of the funny things about the story is that they had to set camp at Khaibar.. as if Khaibar was China, rather than being Medina's backyard.

It's a common strategy of war to remain in recently conquered areas so as to prevent it from falling back into the hands of the enemy and to better manage any complications that may arise. I read in tafsirs, I think, that Muhammad remained in a recently-conquered settlements for 3 days afterwards.

It's quite a common technique, it's mentioned in Machiavelli's 'The Prince.'

Unless of course, you meant before they actually took Khaybar.

man i'am sorry i have to leave right now, i hope that i could retake the debat with you soon, look! for me the response was, a good person who don't believe in god is better than an evil one who does believe, and honestly i think a good person who don't believe in god deserve the paradise even more than a good person who does believe, but that is MY OWN opinion, you can have yours it would be no problem, the problem here is that you don't.
    see you soon

did you read the story? They set camp after they (allegedly) slaughtered ALL the men and teenagers! In any case, Khaibar was Medina's backyard.

What a horrible story, it's almost as bad as one of the typical OT stories.

    Why Kufr?

The sixth kind of apostasy is mockery of what Allah sent down or of anything that the Messenger came with, even things from the Sunnahs (of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) or recommended things like siwaak, trimming the moustache, removing armpit hair, or trimming the nails. If a person makes mockery of any of these things he becomes a disbeliever. The evidence for this is found in the Statement of Allah the Most High:

"And if you were to ask them, they would say: 'Surely we were
only jesting and playing.' Say: 'Was it Allah, His Verses,
or His Messenger you were mocking? Make no mistake,
verily you have disbelieved after your belief.' surah at-tawbah

Even if a person falls into some kind of opposition (to the Sunnah) due to his desires, then surely he still must respect the way of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam), respect his Sunnahs, and respect the narrations.

Oh well, that I makes me a Kafir then, because I spit on Muhammed described in some Hadiths/Sira accounts... I spit on the Biblical Moses, the Biblical David, the Biblical Solomon and almost all the the rest of the Biblical prophets... The Bible makes me wanna spit on its prophets, and some Hadiths/Sira accounts makes me wanna spit on the alleged character of the thug they claim to be Muhammed.

No dude,  It's about PROOF based on SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE and not "sounded good" or "makes the most sense to me".
A lot of beliefs make sense or sound good to a lot of people.  That doesn't mean they are true.  The scientific method is the best way to reach the truth; and it has proven itself by building all the technology around you.

Well men wrote the Quran, you do realise that dont you?

And you take their word for it that they wrote down what Muhammed wanted and you take their word for it that Muhammed claimed Allah told him it.

Bit too many things that you are taking at face value here, particularly if you intend to spend your whole life sacrificing towards it.
