    Height: 5ft
Weight: something like 40-45kg i think
    BodyFat%: no idea
Body Type: no idea - but i tend to gain fat on my tummy firstly, then the rest of me.

Goals: Toning tum and general increase in fitness level.

    Fitness Plan:

    Diet:
    Drinking more water
    Reducing carbs intake
(since I cant stop snacking) replacing bad snacking with things like having fruits and nuts.

    Routine:
    Daily pilates
    Weekly jogging
Possibly joining the gym (or kick boxing)

    Height: 5'10"
Initial weight for last 3 years before starting HCG diet: 200 lbs.
Current weight while on diet for 3 weeks: 180 lbs.
Target: 170 lbs or lower (in max 40 day period of diet)
Next target: start building muscles and possibly 6-pack.

    HCG plan:
Take homeopathic HCG drops 3 times a day (half an hour before meals except nothing for breakfast)
Lunch and dinner: One vegetable, one fruit, a bit of protein, a Melba toast.. Make sure do not repeat the same fruit, protein and vegetable in next meal. Only approved fruit, vegetable and spices are allowed.
No carbs other than Melba toasts in the meals. No diet soda as well, as it has aspartame in it. Club soda is allowed, we can make our own with lemon and stevia (a zero calorie sugar alternative that doesn't have aspartame.)
Tea of coffee is allowed unlimited times, except without milk/cream and sugar. Yes, Stevia is allowed in it.

    BodyFat%: around 15%
Body Type: Mesomorph (it's a gift and a curse)

Goals: getting to 10% body fat

    Diet:
not eating like a pig (failing miserably here, I just love food lol)
    40/40/20 ratio of protein/carbs/fat

    Routine:
    1- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insanity_%28Home_exercise_system%29#Insanity
    2- Taekwondo twice a week
3- Weight lifting in the gym twice a week

It's a very tough program. I'm already seeing huge improvements in terms of fitness and stamina, but no visual results yet, cuz I suck at dieting lol

If you ever become a fat cow you should try the Jesus diet: give all your money away then starve to death.

i don't count calories, just try to eat as much protein as possible and reduce fat. should also work on reducing carbs.

i work-out my abs and do press-ups every other day. i also love walking and walk everywhere. not really interested in body building, just having better abs/chest and being healthy.

Honestly I don't care as much as I used to, but if I feel like shedding a few pounds I just eat something raw whenever I'm needing to snack or nibble. And I try not to eat carbs after about 6.00pm.

You should try one of those home DVD type of programs. They can be just as intense and effective, if not more, than going to the gym.

I've heard of the zone diet, but ultimately it's about how much calories you take versus how much you burn. As long as the calories are coming from good foods instead of cake for example, then it's a good plan.

Kinda unrelated, but beware of social eating lol. Friends and family can be your enemies in terms of diets here Tongue. "oh cmon just one slice of pizza, its not gonna make you fat" -_- I think I should just isolate myself for 2 months til I finish my program or at least get more disciplined.

    Anyways, good luck everyone.

500 calories per day diet with praying. Praying 30 minutes before each meal. It works great, I've lost 4 lbs already.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

i think this is one of the best diets out there.. you eat like 6 times a day, and it breaks it down so it's very easy to sub any other food..
i actually tried this many many years ago, and had some fantastic results.. i just might try it again  yes

Japanese food has too much salt in it. The night before last I cooked the following supper...

    Miso soup (salty)
Stir-fried veg with sato shoyu (salty)
    Fresh salted mackerel (salty)
    Grated daikon with ponzu (salty)
    Rice (no salt)

I can almost feel my arteries hardening.

    No. They compensate with salt.

Hmm. I don't mind salty foods. I read your post again, if it's you cooking it why didn't you cut down on the salt a wee bit?

    I added no salt.

It's already in the ingredients - miso, soy sauce, ponzu. To my surprise, it was even in the fresh mackerel.

Fair enough, can you get low salt miso or soy sauce for example (without paying 3 times the price of course).

To an extent you can, but all depend on salt for their essence.

I have a fetish for umeboshi (pickled plums), and try to get ones with lower salt, but they're still mouth-wateringly bitter-salty.

it is always so salty, at least from what i've tried...
i feel like everything tastes the same because of the sauces like soya , it overrides the flavours of the rest of the meal
