    18 hours maybe when I wasn't sick or in the hospital (not counting bathroom trips).

    Do you agree the British shouldn't modernize their language so that we Americans can keep making fun of their silly, antiquated, non-phonetic spellings of words derived from Norman French?

    I would take that whole new york accent any day. That or the Scottish accent. Both sound interesting to me.  Roll Eyes

    Depends-- if the first shot knocked me unconscious, definitely bludgeoned. If not, I suppose I'd still prefer bludgeoned unless the stabbing was a large knife to the heart as that would kill me quickly.

    Continuing on this theme-- you're to be executed-- you have the following choices, (1) lethal injection*, (2) gas chamber**, (3) hanging***, (4) electric chair, (5) firing squad-- which do you choose?

    ------

    For those a bit unfamiliar with some of these methods:

    *lethal injection, the condemned is strapped onto a table, then standard protocol is to administer sodium pentothal (a short acting barbituate to induce coma), then pavulon (a muscle relaxer to paralyze the prisoner so they don't twitch about while having their heart attack and make their death appear more peaceful), then potassium chloride to stop the heart.

    **gas chamber prisoner is strapped into a chair then cyanide gas is released. Once the cyanide enters the system one dies from cardiac arrest very quickly however those who struggle against the gas often spend a few seconds choking before finally succumbing. Best to not fight it and instead deeply inhale.

    ***hanging, if done properly, kills the prisoner by breaking the neck rather than by strangulation.

    The rest of the methods should be self-explanatory.

    Otherwise, AFAIK, lethal injection should be peaceful since you're already comatose. So, that.

    If you were to commit suicide, what method would you choose? (Has this been asked before?)
