    Im on the phone to book it in for collection. The disks arrived this morning. I followed the instructions. Ie stick the disk in. Turn it off and then turn it back on so that it can boot from disk and yet i still see the god damn blue screen. Did it twice just to be sure i did it properly. I am pissed off.

    Guess it turned up early then lol.

    im even more pissed off now. I was on hold for 50 minutes to an 0870 number and when i finally got through to someone i was just in the middle of talking when the dog knocked the phone rest down and somehow cut off the call. finmad

    so im now on hold again. I swear i am going to scream at there people and kill the dog

    I know what you mean about waiting. Only 2 days ago my mum was waiting for 45 mins to the car fine ppl and my brother cut it off accidentally when they picked up. Dumbass

    Reminds me when my ma was calling my grampa for a ride home on a payphone when we were beat from walking. Suddenly I became fascinated by this switch on the phone and wondered what it did. I pushed it down and cut off the call, and that was her only quarter Grin. Priceless.
    I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

    Ok. I should expect an engineer to call me in 5 - 7 working days to arrange to come round and give me a new hard drive.

    if i wasnt so pissed off i would make a rude joke about that.

    I got it wrong. My pc wasnt getting fixed today, it was being collected and could take anywhere up to 2 weeks to return. finmad

    2 more weeks of this, this is pure torture.

    So it was a hardware failure then, what was it the graphics card of the hard rive, that did the guy say?

    No no. Make new note "never buy comet extended insurance"

    its not hp thats the problem, although their 2 week wait for a recovery disk from hungary isnt exactly appealing, its comet insurance that are creating the most issues.

    I will. When i had no pc insurance i had my pc fixed faster since i knew it was up to me. I paid pretty much the same to the man who fixed it as i did to extend the warranty on a computer. By the time it gets fixed i will have been without a pc for 5 weeks.

    if that isnt bad service i dont know what is. I am definately complaining.

    Keep a detailed time-line of all the things you've done, like phone calls, running around, being messed around, the names of the persons you spoke to on the phone. The money you paid for the product the date you bought it the cost of the extended warranty. Then asked to me compensated for being messed around, and that if they do not compensate you will make a complaint about comet group the trading standards. Ask for a written apology.
