    I <3 Malay/Indonesian food.

    Lived in Singapore for a year when I was younger, always loved going to the Malay eateries.  Yum Yum


    I lived in Singapore for 6 months, so many food I looooveeee over there

    especially this:

    there are Malaysian mie goreng and Indonesian Mie goreng as well, the taste would be different, the picture that you posted looks like Indonesian mie, malaysian call it mee goreng, it look like this:



    the mie is bigger, but I believe mie is originally from China, different country different spices I guess

    Arabic rice stuffed in roast chicken, turkish kebabs, cheese bread, aromatic duck with hoisin sauce/shredded cucumber & pancakes, and passionfruit pavlova

    Yeah, like experimenting with food.  It was an eclectic mix because they were all dishes that we all love, different yet relatively easy & simple to prepare in advance for a dinner party.  It meant we were not having to slave over the stove when the guests are round, and instead just eating & enjoying the wine.

    Didn't take a pic. I only experiment when I have an idea. It's quite easy to make something out of nothing with tomatoes, they are soo useful! Gunna have to make this again sometime.
