    Meh, to some Allah, God or whoever is a bright shinny loving fuzzy guy and to others he's an evil tyrant hell bent on sadistic punishment. Who's to say one view point should automatically be privileged over the other? If something thinks one think and another thinks another way it would be smart to find out why.

    So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

    The ultimate question for people on here is:

    What is your ultimate goal with a site like this; is it:

    a. anti-islam with the ultimate aim to take away as many people from islam as possible?

    b. a place where people can have a bitching session about islam/ muslims?

    c. a place where people can share ideas/ discuss things in common?

    So which one is it?

    To some Islam is warm and fuzzy and all positive and joy. To others there is a darker side to it. Shouldn't both be given fair chance to have their point of view point expressed.

    Stop being such a butthurt,Superstrike. Crawl back to that hole of yours,Get A Qur'an,Sahih Bukhari(not summarized versions but the complete Vol 1-10)Sahih Muslim and others i that cba, and Seerah.  Study them and learn more then you can come back to this forum and challenge us.

    There are actually people who looked, lived, and believed in the Qur'an, Hadith, etc and who came to realize philosophically, factually, and emotionally that the claims didn't match up. That is frightening to some people because they have so much invested in Islam how could it be false? So they deny, obfuscate, hate, and even attempt to kill. One could guess it's out of fear, but who knows.

    So where does this anger, these demands, and these feelings of being victimized come from? If some says Manchester United sucks, usually people don't demand they take it back, or say why can't you just support Arsenal without being mean. It's because Islam is more than just a set of facts to people, it's an identity and when people hear less than respect for Islam they feel like people aren't respecting them as people. But that's further from the truth for a lot of people. Islam is a supposed set of facts and assumptions that don't match. So people feel lied to, deceived, and either need to vent or want to expropriate that identity, hince ex Muslim.

    Listen douchbag, just because I disagree with the punishment does not mean I disagree with the law. It's a deterrent punishment so it rarely gets implemented in pratice. If God states the law, we follow it. You need to get your head out of your arse.

    Many people here were devout muslims, prayed 5 times a day and even those that didn't pray have been devout and Truly believed the Quran was the word of God, I was a fervent believer and I would have put my head on the guillotine as a warranty that the Quran was the word of god, not anymore though, grew out of it.
