    Reading some of these comments sugests to me atleast that certain individuals were just sitting in wait for somthing like this to happen, any oppertunity to attack Hamza.     Yeah, it is his beautiful character. Poor, poor victim. Good thing he has reminded us that Ashley Madison is halal. Lest we judge. Thank goodness I have such a moral compass to look to. I can swallow the vomit that rose in my throat upon seeing the halal reminder that married Muslim men can look for women all they want. Because beautiful character.

    Nope consent is not required in shariah law. And in fact a woman can't get a divorce if she finds out her husband has taken a second wife, or that she is a second wife....unless she's put monogamy into her marriage contract, AND that gets approved by the court...which may not happen, from the videos of the proceedings I have seen.

    Hamza has updated his statement again, this time to include more details about the kind of wife one may potentially be looking for on the site, should, say, a Muslim man, maybe a dawah preacher, have been on that site actually and not as the result of a hack:

    My whereabouts and activities, both private and public are traceable and recorded, and there is without any doubt that I have not pursued such immoral acts that the site promotes (this includes permissible acts, for instance the endeavour to find another halal wife [who can also be a non-Muslim] who wanted to be with a married man, which is allowed in Islam).

    Well honestly, that wasn't the part that's surprising or funny to me. Potentially sad, but understandable.

    It's how these dudes always have to hide it. There will never be a case where one of these guys' (self-righteous public figures) immediate response is "yeah I did that, so what?" Own yourself and what you do, it's the only way to live a satisfying life for mine. It's funny to me that these guys who want others to look up to them can't even get to that level.

    So I've been looking at other data from the leak. One thing I found hilarious was the list of passwords. Top passwords include: 123456, password, 696969, other number strings starting with 1 and ending between 4 and 9--or comprised of a string of 1's or the numbers reversed, qwerty, baseball, harley, swapper, swinger, football, swingers, mustang, abc123, asshole, soccer, and hunter. All users with the "bot" column set to TRUE have either passwords "statueofliberty" or "cake", so that's interesting, if you want to know if an account is a bot, you can apparently just try these two passwords and find out.

    I think Hamza is on to a great idea by claiming that it could be permissible for a Muslim to use this site. He should open an Islamic version of AM and call it "Halal Mutah." They could have a sleazy slogan like "You are accountable to none but Allah  Wink" (you could probably find a Quran verse like that).

    I think it's despicable to hack and share personal information like that, because however immoral we might think cheating is, it's still not something that goes against the law. And it should never be a criminalized act either. What has happened is in essence an attack on people's integrity and personal freedom.

    As for this whole debacle with Hamza, I think we can be more or less sure beyond reasonable doubt that it is not a fraud.

    For me personally, his poor attempt to argue for its "lawfulness" in the eyes of Islam just cemented my conviction. It's because I've personally witnessed and heard about cases like this before.

    At some point he registered for whatever reason. We might not know the details, but the details are irrelevant. I don't think it's right to expose people like this, including Hamza. If I was one of the wives, however, I would be happy and thankful to have found out, but that is purely out of selfish reasons.

    But now we know. And once again Hamza had proven what a little piece of shit he truly is, in every sense I can imagine; moral, intelectual, and so on.
