Translating it into other languages is changing the Qur'an? Does it automatically mean that the original Arabic Qur'an will vanish from the earth leaving only the translations? You're not making sense. He DID send it down as an Arabic Qur'an so the Arabs could learn wisdom and then help spread that wisdom around the globe. But where does it say that He only intended it to remain an Arabic Qur'an? I understand the early Muslims were paranoid that it would become corrupted like the previous revelations, so they were very, very anal retentively protective over it, but there was no command from Allah that it should never be translated. The idea that "all Muslims must learn Arabic" is tradition, not obligatory command. A cool tradition, I admit, but not vital to practicing Islam, no.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be translated, its just the translation is reffered to as "the interpretation and meanings of the quran".
Muslims believe that the words in the (arabic) quran are the literal speech of Allah.
So the english translation is not the literal speech of allah and therefore is not the quran. it is the "the interpretation and meanings of the quran"
I learned it from my parents and teachers who probably got it from the traditions/hadith. But the message it contains is very mch in the Qur'an, don't you agree?
I agree. But thank your for acknowledging you got it from hadith. So I just find it strange when you choose to reject other hadith that have been recorded in the exact same (authentic) manner.
"If you love me and if you love Allah, you will also worship the scholars."
I think you should stop talking now.
No. Its that you're basically saying that all the scholars in history are stupid and have misunderstood the religion. And that you are the only one that knows the "real Islam" but yet you really have no knowledge at all.
(i really mean no knowledge...you cant even read the quran and you need those same scholars that you reject to translate it for you...let alone knowledge in any of the other Islamic sciences)
You say something that contradicts the way Islam has been practised since it's inception and if I try and show you a hadith or opinion of the scholars you say that listenin to them is "worshipping them"
well you worship them when you say the "testimony of faith" because you got that from hadith. You also worship them when you pray 2 rakahs for fajr ect... because you got that from hadith. You worship them when you make pilgrimage to Mecca because you got that from hadith.
You are in effect worshiping your own opinion when you make false statements about Islam and refuse to accept hadith and even historical accounts because "these were recorded by man

"
You must remeber your opinion is also the opinion of a MAN. But the opinions of other men (scholars) are based on knowledge where yours are simply based on your whims and desires (you literally know nothing). You even seem to refuse evidence from the Quran when it doesn't suit your fancy.
